Gonzo MultimediaFormer Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman has dug into his archives to compile a new 18-CD box set featuring official bootleg recordings of 10 concerts by his various solo projects.

The Rick Wakeman Box of Boots: Set of 10 Live CDs: Official Bootleg Series collection will be released on December 2, and spans from an October 1974 solo performance in Boston through a July 2014 concert in Tokyo.

Other recordings in the box set include a 1975 performance of Rick's Journey to the Centre of the Earth concept album in Osaka, Japan; a 1976 concert with the Vienna Ensemble in Vienna, Austria; November 1981 U.K. shows in Preston and Sheffield; a January 2001 concert at Daphne Du Maurier Festival in Fowey, U.K.; and a performance with the English Rock Ensemble at Fairport Convention's 2010 Cropredy Festival in Oxfordshire, U.K.

Each recording features audio that has been cleaned up in the studio. Only 1,000 of the box set will be produced, each coming with a signed and numbered certificate.

The 10 concerts also will be released individually as single CDs or two-CD sets. You can pre-order the Box of Boots collection and the individual shows now at MusicGlue.com.

Wakeman currently has four concerts left on the North American leg of his Grumpy Old Rock Star solo tour. Here are the dates:

10/22 — Los Angeles, CA, The Theatre at Ace Hotel
10/25 — Atlanta, GA, City Winery
10/26 — Clearwater, FL, Capitol Theatre
